The Robin Appreciation Society

Thanks to the awesomely awesome wastingyourgum, we now haz little Robins next to usernames, instead of the boring ol' person-thing. Isn't he adorable?? :D :D

Hi, gang! :) A few notes--


First order of business: on behalf of members or visitors who react aversely to flashing images, we're instating a NEW RULE that sparkle/glitter text or other flashing graphics must go behind a lj-cut, with a warning outside of the cut that it's there.

I'm aware that I'm the primary offender around here, and all posts with glitter text have been fixed now.

Also: for anyone who hasn't yet voted for Intercomm fics and might be feeling overwhelmed by the sheer numbers, I want to remind you that you don't have to vote in every category! So, even if you don't have the time to tackle the epic short fics or even the short fics, you can still enter votes for the ficlets, flash fics and/or drabbles. :) And don't let the number of drabbles frighten you off-- there are forty-one, but they're only a hundred words each, which still makes their total word count shorter than most fics or fic chapters that get posted! Please take a minute to show your support for your fellow community members who shared their talents-- and read some lovely Robin-centric stories. :)

And, even if you don't get around to voting, we hope you'll still think of them the next time you're looking for Robs fanfiction to read! :) The whole point of Intercomm was to contribute a bunch of new fic to the fandom, after all!!

Speaking of fanfic, we all know Robs can use some lovin', and rh_kink is giving him the chance for it here... :D

Also, I haven't forgotten our favorite Robin episode discussions! It just seemed that it might be a bit much on top of Intercomm. However, once that has been concluded, we'll have our first discussion, which will be on 1x13.
