Summary: Marian unwittingly finds herself immersed. In more ways than one.
Notes: Written for railise, because as we all know, she is a fantastic person, and an even better friend. She was also an incredibly helpful and encouraging beta on this one. So she gets double the amounts of thanks.

Prince of Thieves gave us a scene that the BBC so cruelly denied us. This fic attempts to address this glaring absence. In its own way. This is the longest fic I've ever written (a sad state of affairs really), and since railise read it for me, I have tinkered, so there may just be some shocking errors.
